REVIEW
As was the case with the previous CD-single, this one is also meant to serve as a sort of "apetizer" in wait for the whole album. The titletrack is great, but I think that "Dargor.." is better on the "Dawn Of Victory"-CD. This extended version donīt do anything for me, and I find it rather boring to be honest. I get the impression that the added parts are stuff that were "left over" when they recorded the album. They donīt fit together with the song. But hey, thatīs just my opinion. I love the regular version of "Dargor.." and am glad that they didnīt choose this version in the first place. The last track is also a different version from the one we are used to from the standard CD. This time itīs "Rage Of The Winter" from debut album "Legendary Tales". This is not bad, but the version that actually ended up on the album is better. This one has different lyrics and they donīt fit with the music as well as the version from the original CD. In conclusion I must say that I really like this kind of extratracks. Of course, the best thing would be completely new songs, but hearing odd versions of songs you already know is quite interesting too, I think. I know that many people donīt like it, but at least this is better than when bands just release a single and then have a couple of other tracks, often from the same album, as the second and third tracks on the single.
