Bootlegs
None of the bootlegs listed here are for sale, nor do I have any idea where to obtain them!
Only professional releases are included. This means factory-pressed CDs. Whatīs the deal with collecting burned copies with computerprinted covers? Iīm not interested in that no matter what quality they may have.

| The above CD is called "Old Battle Songs" and was one of the first (if not THE first) real bootleg released on RHAPSODY. It includes all tracks from their first demo - "Eternal Glory" as well as 7 livetracks (including intros and drumsolo) recorded live in Hamburg 2000. Released by Epicus Records (great name by the way ;-) ). Sound quality is ok for a bootleg, but Iīve heard better. Also included is an 8-page full colour booklet. | ||

| The above three (3) pictures show the release called "Metal Collection". Not very original title but with a good selection of Rhapsody songs. A kind of "Best of Rhapsody" with tracks taken from the three first albums. Originates from some Eastern European country (not sure which though) and first started to surface in 2001. | ||

| This is basically the cassette demo of "Eternal Glory" on CD. It contains all the songs from the demo and also the tracks from the "Emerald Sword" and "Holy Thunderforce" CD singles. Also included are the videoclips for "Rain of a thousand flames" and "Epicus furor - Emerald sword". Originally released in a standard black jewel case with regular silver CD, and later reissued in clear jewel case and picture CD (this is the version pictured above). The first edition were supposedly easy to find at recordshops in Holland, but the original demo has never been released on CD, so itīs an illegal release even though you might find it in a serious recordshop. | ||

| The above CD is simply called "Rhapsody & Labyrinth" (original, huh?) and contains Rhapsodys full length-CDs "Legendary Tales", "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands" and "Dawn Of Victory", as well as the EP "Rain Of A Thousand Flames" and singles "Emerald Sword" and "Holy Thunderforce". Also included on this CD is Luca Turilliīs soloalbum "King Of The Nordic Twilight". In addition it also contains the self-titeled full length debut CD from Vision Divine (featuring Fabio on vocals) as well as four full length CDs from Labyrinth ("No Limits"-with Fabio on vocals, Return To Heaven Denied", "Timeless Crime" and "Sons Of Thunder"). There is also the lyrics to alla tracks, pictures and the video to Luca Turilliīs "The Ancient Forest Of Elves". As you understand, this is not a regular CD, but a collection of MP3īs. I donīt like these types of releases, but since it exists and is pressed on a silver CD, it shows that the person/persons behind this at least put some small effort into it and I feel it should be mentioned here. | ||

This is a collection of
Rhapsody tracks. Not much info on this one, as I donīt own it myself.
Sorry. All I know is that itīs supposed to be part of a series of
bootlegs called "All-Stars".

| The three (3) pictures above shows the release of "Madrid Chronicles 2000". A live CD recorded at the "La Riviera" in Madrid, Spain, on May 3, 2000. A colour folder as cover (plain white inside) and printed CD label. The CD itself is a simple CD-r though (not silver) and would not usually be listed here. But as stated above, it has a printed label and, as is the case with the "Rhapsody and Labyrith"-CD described earlier, it shows that the responsible people behind this at least put a little work behind it. Credited to "Whistle records" and distributed by "P & W Music" and "Made in Argentina". Believe it if you want. I donīt. Sound quality is not that good. I would give the sound a rating of 2 out of 5. Beware of this one! | ||

|
| This is another fairly common bootleg that circulates among collectors. It is a double release and it contains the complete shows of both Rhapsody and Stratovarius from their gig at "Works" in Osnabruck, Germany, on April 13, 2000. Even though it have a colorful front and bockcover, this is just a simple CD-r with average sound quality. Not recommended. | |
