The judge didn't like her so she got her first 2 he did also measure her and she is 68cm that means that she is a big female. | 051010 | The injection is made and Ria made it like a charm. She thought it was a bit scary when we walked into the vets but that went away as soon as I sat down in the waiting room. I lifted her into my lap and there she fell asleep waiting for our turn. The seringe was no problem and the doctor told me I had a well behaved dog. |
| 051004 | Now she has been with us for a whole week and she is getting tougher and tougher. I weighed her yesterday since I remembered that I forgot to do that when we picked her up. Ill update the statistics on her weigth and height each week so I can see her progress. It is almost as if she has been trained to walk in a leash because she is really good at it. All new things can be hard to handle but I only have to approach whatever she finds threatning and then she shakes it off just like that. This night she slept the whole night thru and pooped only once during the day. Last week she only pooped when it was night and that was a bit heavy. Now we can only hope that she continues doing like this so I wont have to get up several times per night because she feels that she has to do it then instead of during the day. One thing I find is very good with Ria is that she prefers to sit down whenever she is frightened. After a little while she examines the danger and the fear dissappears quickly. |

Now Ria only awakes once a night and she is much more awake and alert. She is also more confident with her new environment and this is the second day that she eats as she is expected to. Since she is born in the countryside with very few close neightbours and I live in a fairly large city there are a lot of changes for her to accept. All the sounds and things she hasnt seen before is a lot for a little puppy to grasp. I have gotten lovebites in my ears, nose and chin but its nothing serious. Shes just tasting me. Ria is a real lapdog and she prefers going to sleep in my knee. She is also quite good at telling when its time to do the small and the big stuff. Shes walking quite good in the leash but sometimes I wonder if she has some parts of a shepherd's dog in her. She has an ability to try to keep us together like a herd of sheep while we are out walking and she is unable to pee and poop when we are not gathered and standing still because when we are moving she is fully occupied with keeping us together. But today she broke the trend herself so her toughness becomes stronger each day. |
