On these links you find some pictures from Monrovia and Nimba.

This is my first house in Buchanan. Located in loop 2 on the side near the CCS building. Just like everybody else I made the mistake of planting banana trees. Later I moved to a house in the old Sentab camp (or was it called Vianini?).

A house in central Buchanan. I never managed to find out if the sidewalk was built before the house or vice versa. Part of the foundation was in any case resting solidly on the sidewalk!

The left picture shows the entrance to the harbour as seen from the key. The picture to the right shows one of the tugboats getting ready to assist a ship on its way out to the Atlantic. On the picture below you can see the inner breakwater (the cargo pier) and two cranes that are busy finishing the breakwater.
