From the artmusic video Drifting Clouds.

The opening took place indoors, then we invited the visitors to the after party in the museum yard.

Baguette, wine and cheese are all necessary ingredients to make a good artistic experience.
Art demands a great deal of focus from it´s audience, as the audience have to play the artwork themselves.
Exhibition Animismer at Dalarnas Museum,
Falun 18 June - 5 October. The exhibition includes photography and artmusic video.

The opening took place in the beginning of the summer.

At the opening we had some nice young jazz musicians improvising to the artwork.

It it always nice to visit Falun. I worked together with the people at the museum for some days,
to get the printings right, and I must say I immediately felt at home.

Finally, after almost two years work, my text on french photographer Sophie Calle is ready to publish.
I was happy to find out that she was the winner of this years Hasselblad award. Details in Sophie Calles artwork is an investigation where the starting point is Suite vénitienne, one of the French artist,
storyteller and photographer Sophie Calles early projects, dated back to 1979. Suite vénitienne was first published as a book in 1980, accompanied by a text by philosopher Jean Baudrillard, Please follow me. Finding keys to the artwork of Sophie Calle I have been guided by the concept of details as in Roland Barthes description of punctum, the detail in the picture that hits you like an arrow, the detail that seeks your subconscious. Sophie Calle often uses photography together with text to create her stories, and here the focus lies on essential details in her pictures, her words and in her narration. The twelve chapters; Traces, Shadows, Alter Ego, The Gaze, Mirrors, Studium, Punctum, Versions, Visibility, The lie, Puzzles, Seduction, include details that are examined from different perspectives, where as the chapters, like in a film script, has been carefully arranged to follow their own narrative logic. By conversing with philosophers, scholars, feminists, writers and novelists like Duras and Auster the aim has been to create several different kinds of understandings
of Sophie Calles artwork, to strive towards quite a scattered full view of the picture. Download the full text in Swedish.
