ALL SEWN UP-A TRIBUTE TO PATRIK FITZGERALD(2 CD CRISPIN GLOVER RECORDS BEAG2CGRCD005) En tributskiva med Patrik Fitzgerald är inte något jag saknat förrän nu. Han har gjort så mycket mer än Safety pin stuck in my heart. Mest norska band och artister här men första låten Punch är helt suverän Jello Biafra med Motorpsycho…ett genidrag. Max Lorentz låter som Freddie Wadling. Israelvis har fått det svåra uppdraget att göra den stora låten Safetypin stuck in my heart och de gör den med bravur…snabbt och punkigt. Betong Hysteria är riktigt kul också med sin udda sångare. Sevens luftiga poppunk med kvinnlig sångerska fastnar med en gång. Jim Jasmines reggae inspirerade låt var gjord medans barnens sov…imponerande. Norska All Troulke har fått till ett underbart 77-doftande sound. Lee Marwick är väl den som kommer Patrik närmast med sitt sound. Benjamin Zephaniah låter som Linton Kwesi Johnson…suveränt. Attila The Stockbrocker gör ingen besviken och inte här heller. Reilly Express punkiga Island of lost souls är bland det bättre på skivan. Legend har spelat in sin låt 1985 men en riktigt bra punkpärla är det i alla fall. The School är ett riktigt käckt band som påminner mig om tidiga Brainpool. Hook Line & Sinker är annorlunda på ett positivt sätt och jag gillar deras udda stil. Monolithics galna upptåg bryter av på ett bra sätt men första skiva är den bästa.(SJU) 14/10-09

He have done so much more than Safety pin stuck in my heart. Mostly Norwegian bands and artists is it here but the first song Punch is really good Jello Biafra with Motorpsycho…a genious song. Max Lorentz sounds like Freddie Wadling. Israelvis have got the hard thing to do the big song Safety pin stuck in my heart and they do it really good….fast and punky. Betong Hysteria is really fun with their odd singer. Sevens airy poppunk with a female singer sits in my head at once. Jim Jasmines reggae inspired song was done when the kids were asleeep….impressing. Norwegian All Trouble have got foreward a really wonderful 77-smelling sound. Lee Marwick is the one which is nearest with his sound, I mean nearest to Patriks sound. Benjamin Zephaniah sounds like Linton Kwesi Johnson…marvellous. Attila The Stockbrocker doesn´t do anyone disappointed and not this time either. Reilly Express and their punky Island of lost souls is among the better things on the record. Legend have recorded their song 1985 but it´s a really good punkpearl anyway. The School is a really nice band which reminds me about early Brainpool. Hook Line & sinker is different in a positive way and I like their odd style. Monolithics crazy style does the second record interesting but the first record is the best one.(SEVEN) 14/10-09
