All praise is only for Allah s.w.t and what people get in this world is a gift from our Lord given to us through the pure Household of the Holy Prophet s.a.w. One of the servants of the Ahlul-Bayt a.s who has been gifted by the talent of reciting nohas and writing poetry is J.Akhtar Husain Lucknawi. He was born in 1976 in Lucknow-India and is the son of late Haji Wilayat Husain Saheb. His father passed away in his childhood and he was brought up by his mother. His upbringing gave him more and more interest in reciting nohas already in his early years.
As he growed , more and more people paid attention to his recitations and he began to appear a lot in public. In 1998 his first vol. of nohas was released in a cassette by the title of "Kohraam". Not only did his interest grow in reciting nohas and qasidas but to also write poetry himself. He began to write poems in 1992 and continued with that. After completing his education as B.A final he gave all his time to poetry and recitals.
