The trip started with a ferry trip from Nynäshamn south of Stockholm to
the island. Here is the car on the car deck. People smiled when they
the saw the old car.
|
|
From Visby, the only town on the island, we drove south. We tried to keep
as close to the coast as possible.
|
|
The first night we spent at a small hotel. We were the only guests. Late
in the evening we drove to a small village called Burgsvik to have
some food.

Next day we went further
south and we stopped to take some pictures. |
|
I had been in this place before. I took a picture here of my Saab 99
in 1982. It’s 21 years between the pictures.

When we reached the southernmost point of Gotland we stopped for a coffee break. |
|
Gotland is famous for the special formation of rocks.

Next night we spent in “Katthammarsvik”. We were the only guests also this time. |

The third day we spent in
Visby. Now the sun was shining. In the background you can see the
ferry M/S Visby.
