U.S. PASGT
helmet, used in Estonia. This is a 1983 Gentex Corporation specimen.
The U.S. has sold or donated an unknown quantity of surplus helmets to
Estonia. The Estonians have refurbished them with new chinstrap and new
headband, as can be seen below. Note the black nylon material, the
double-D buckle of the chinstrap, and the very light coloured leather
of the headband. |
