Carpe Wade (main stage)
CW turn up in Skellefteå ice hockey tracksuits, which makes a
nice change from the whatever-fell-out-of-the-wardrobe style most of
the other bands pick. But it's the music that matters, and Carpe Wade
are pretty hopeless. Of course they're just fine if you like Swedish
adolescent Offspring/Therapy?-type rock. When they play 'Wish I was
eleven' (the lyrics are just as bad as you'd expect) we nod our heads
grimly and seek less embarrassing entertainment.
