Kikkejaure lake is situated in Swedish Lapland. Arvidsjaur and Alvsbyn are the nearest towns
 where You can do your everyday grocery shopping at fair prices.

    This is right in the middle of Sami/Lappish culture. Most lakes, rivers and mountains have Sami names. "Jaure" is Sami language for "lake".

Reindeer-herding is very common in the area. The River of Abo runs through Lake Kikkejaure.

The Kikkijaure lake is approximately 10 kilometer long and contains 6-8 bigger islands
and lots of smaller reefs.

5-7 different types of fish can be caught in the lake or in surrounding waters:
salmon trout, grayling, perch, pike, whitefish and burbot.
