This is the biggest loco ever built in Sweden. It was constructed for transporting iron ore from north-
ern Sweden to Narvik at the Norweigan northwest coast for shipping abroad. The Dm3 is now being
replaced by the german built "IORE 101" (IORE = iron ore) which is the biggest and most powerful
loco in the world.
