| BOEING 727 SE-DDA Transair SWEDEN | USA |
Transair, Sweden, was a pioneer in Scandinavian charter. It started its service at the end of the fifties with a fleet of DC-3 and DC-6b and then went into the jet-age with a smaller fleet of Boeing 727s. At the end of the sixties Transair was incorporated with another charter operator, Scanair, owned by Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) The aircraft below, SE-DDA, was later sold to an African carrier and probably still in service somewhere in the world. |
