About me

Hi,

my name is Marie-Louise and my nick name is "Ninni" I'm living outside Stockholm in a place called Sollentuna.
This is my first female Labrador "Molly" (Bumkin's Hold On Tight), she arrived in November -99 from Bumkin's Kennel in Rönninge. She did take my heart by storm and she made me feel that this is the kind of dog and race I want to work with. I have a goal with my dogs, and I like to use them as an all-round dog, race exhibit andworking dog/test.

Now I'm training in SKK's dog breeding test, so I will be able to perform my work. My training skills for now are: anatomic, dog law and foods for dog.

These are my thoughts
To have a small breed, with classic race standard, good health, exterior, mentality and working spirit.

Puppies
The puppies are born in my home, I want them near me all the time so I can see if the are all right. When the time is right, I also take them out for a walk (if the weather is okay). When it's time for puppy delivery they are inoculated against: dogworm's, registrated and they get ID-no, they are also checked by a veterinary and then
I get a certificate that all my dogs are okay. I only use dogs who have the health, I'm not accepting any kind of injury: eye's, hip joint and arm joint. Before delivery of the puppy I will talk to the buyer about food, dog walks, health advise. It's very important for me to know the buyer, so that we know each other much better before the small and lovely creatures' leave their mother and my home. Together we can discuss what's best for the
puppies.

Labrador, why?
It's a race who always think forward and is not afraid or nervous and they are listening carefully to the owner. There is also very much speed in them but when they are inside the house the are very good to relax. A race who learns very easy plus they are so friendly. It's a race who takes pleasure in life with its many fine qualities.

Puppy buyers!!
As a breeder you feel and you have a huge responsibility to the puppies. It's very important that the puppies at the end (when it's delivery time) comes to the right buyers/good homes, not to forget, the same is for the buyers that the are happy and pleased with their new dog. Having an interest to buy a puppy? I request the buyer to spend alot of time with the puppy. A young dog needs a strong supervisor to create harmony and a strong dog in the end. Labrador is much more dog than people are aware of. It doesn't mean it's difficult to bring up a puppy, I just want to clarify it takes time to bring up a puppy. In the beginning the little dog is quite easy to handle, but soon enough the small dog has grown to a big dog of 30-40kg, who is a mischievous dog with lots of energy. The more you teach your dog as a puppy, the easier it gets later. If you are working hard with your dog, spending time in the beginning, basic rules, to do or not to do, the better it is. It's much easier to prevent problems when they are young, than deal with it later when they are grown up. Alot of hard work in the beginning will reward you later.

I offer all my puppy buyers one year membership in the Labrador Retriever Club.
