I can't remember exactly when Total Dominance was formed but it would have been around the middle of '96.  Vowing to stay a nomad I held out for quite some time before finally asking Jimoc if he would be interested in forming an alliance together.  We both preferred singles over allied games but having played each other many times and always having to be playing our best game when doing so we knew that we could count on each other in allied play.  Of course we needed more than just two members so we started recruiting.  We then got Alta to join who became an excellent player.  The next members to join were Momship and Que.  At some point I believe Micanou joined as well or at least was asked to by me.

The name Total Dominance (TD) was decided upon once the decision was made to form the alliance.  It was a fitting name since TD was the dominant alliance at the time.  TD went on to lose only one game before breaking apart due to most of us retiring.

I was the first to retire and missed some of the later games but I've heard that many of them were were considered classics by all who were involved :-)

When I returned from my rather long break of over two years, I was the only member left in TD.  Micanou approached me and asked if I wanted to join the alliance he formed after his return so I did, thus eliminating TD from the list of clans in Metal Knights (MK).

Micanou then recruited FeralFlounder and Stalker; two excellent players.  It was at that time we decided to revive Total Dominance.  We eventually decided that if we wanted to vie for a top seat in the alliance HOF we needed more members so we again decided to recruit.  We were able to recruit some experienced players such as Floydbill and Raider (Stalker's little bro) and brought in some fresh talent by recruiting Wawuschel and Eztarget.  I was able to convince Billz to join after playing an allied game against him that he evnetually won so he was a good aquisition.  Then Raider was able to convince Leijkar to join us.  I'm sure that I don't need to mention it but Leijkar is one of the best players in the game!

There's a uniqueness about TD that separates it from many of the other alliances in MK.  All of our members are TD members on ALL MK servers and each member has as much say as any other.  We are all totally dedicated to the alliance.

We're now working on playing as a team and getting to know each other's strengths and weaknesses and trying to improve on them.  Having to start all over again at 0 points we have a long way to go but we intend on eventually regaining a top spot among the alliances.
