My Aquariums |
|
I have been keeping tropical freshwater aquariums ever since I was about six years old (I was born in 1978). Currently I have about ten tropical freshwater aquariums, of various sizes (from 75 to 720 liter), and one 375 liter tropical saltwater aquarium, in a hobby basement room that a rent. The exact number of aquariums varies from time to time as I rearrange aquariums and exchange old medium sized or scratched aquariums in favour of larger and less scratched aquariums. The idea is to make the aquariums easier to maintain and make the room interior more to my liking and ofcourse make it easier to photograph. I also hope to some day set up one 1400L and one 1450L aquarium. I already own the two aquariums, I aquired them when Seagarden (a public aquarium) went out of business. The problem is that they are now disassembled because it would not have been possible to move them to my aquariumroom otherwise, so I need to clean them from old silicone etc before I can begin the difficult work of building them up again. I also have to be very careful where I decide to place them, as they are not easily moved afterwards. |
