What a long and strange trip! The festival was pretty cool with the stage set in this park/alley in the middle of town which gave a kind of amphitheater feel to it all. We had a good time playing and apart from it being so freaking cold, making it hard to play and KJ's throat sore, it went pretty smooth. It was all very well organized and we (along with a bunch of stoner dudes from Örebro - great guys) got an entire house to stay in + free beer. Needless to say - good times were had! :-)
The next day was pretty eventful aswell - a bit hung over we started the four hour drive back up north when the car broke down on the highway. While waiting for help to arrive we noticed this restaurant across the road that only served salmon related gourmet-type food and so Linkan and Thomas went over there and got these expensive salmon platters that we feasted upon on a grassy knoll at the side of the highway. This caught the attention of people passing by however and they called the cops on us - so we had to explain to two different patrol cars that showed up that we were not just having a picnic but were actually waiting for help. Once we got moving again it all semeed fine for seven miles or so when the car stopped functioning once more. This time Thomas' parents came to the rescue and we got all the way back to Thomas' place were KJ's girlfriend's parents met up and escorted us back to Lidköping and helped us with the final two breakdowns we had along the way. It took us eight hours to get back home. All-in-all an "interesting" experience! ;-)
