The Love Injections are a rootsy five-piece rock & roll band located in-and-around the town of Lidköping, Sweden. The band consists of singer KJ Svensson, guitarists Fredrik "Judo" Simonson & Mikael Westerlund, bassist Henrik "Linkan" Lindquist and drummer Tobbe Rogbrant.

    The Love Injections came together as sort of an offshoot from various other local acts at the tail-end of 2001 and spent the following five years releasing three critically acclaimed demo CDs, building a small but dedicated global fan-base, screwing up a record deal, scoring a publishing deal (albeit with a company who ignored them until it ran out), changing line-ups, doing a fair bit of gigging, listening to the usual industry BS sweet-talk and appearing on a bunch of compilation albums.

    In 2007 the band signed a record deal with italian independant Nicotine Records and recorded their debut album "Trees on a Hill". As mentioned in the album’s sleeve-notes - the whole thing was recorded by themselves on no budget whatsoever in their basement reahearsal space on various pieces of cobbled-together equipment and mixed in a local studio during down-time. The resulting album is a passionate and sprawling twelve-song affair showing off the band's songwriting skills along with their vast range of influences from country to rock & roll to psychedelia to folky sweetness - all filtered through the characteristic Love Injections machinery.
