The first two reviews (atleast that we're aware of) of the "Trees on a Hill" album have been published by Italian online magazines The Ship Magazine.com and Indie Zone and it seems we're getting a big thumbs-up! ALBUM SHIPPING DELAY
Seems that people who have ordered, or even pre-ordered, "Trees on a Hill" from major outlets didn't recieve their CDs up until yesterday. We're very sorry about this but we're totally clueless regarding the whole situation since nobody's talking to us. Looks like things should be running smoothly from now on though.





RELEASE PARTY
Yup - we're throwing a release party for "Trees on a Hill" at Majos Bar in Lidköping on May 17! It starts at 22:00 so get there early if you want to get in. We'll be doing two sets so it'll be alot of fun for sure!

NEW MANAGEMENT
We've just signed a deal with Red Devil Management so now we don't have to deal with some of the stuff that we find boring. Lovely. ;-)

Yay! Today sees the release of "Trees on a Hill" our first official full-length album! We reckon it's a damn fine one and we're very proud of it - so why not pick up a copy and judge for yourself? :-)

As y'all might have gathered the release of "Trees on a Hill" has been pushed back somewhat. It is now finally set to be released on April 25 so be sure to mark that in your calendars! :-)

ALBUM UPDATE
We're finally finished! After some 11 months of hard work we're happy to report that our debut album "Trees on a Hill" is currently in the mail winging it's way to the record company. Not a moment too soon. Stay tuned for release dates and other info!

VIDEO RECORDING
We spent last Saturday pretty much holed up inside our brand new rehearsal space shooting a promo video for a song called "Half Dead" from the upcoming album. NEW REVIEW
Well, it's not that new really it's just that we didn't find out about it until recently. It's a mighty positive review of the "Breakfast For Champions" demo CD by italian webzine Hard 'N Heavy and it's got all sorts of, er, interesting references to bands like Molly Hatchet, Great White and Rose Tattoo(!). Go ahead and see for yourself!

The gig we were supposed to play in Stadsträdgården in Lidköping today has been cancelled due to illness. We're very sorry about any inconvenience this might cause.

ALBUM UPDATE
We've finally finished mixing the album and we've sent it off for mastering! About time, right? Yeah, we think so too... Let's just say that we haven't exactly been mixing every day since we finished recording. The reason for that is basically that we don't have any money or budget whatsoever. But now it's done and we're very happy with it!

LAST MINUTE GIG
We're playing at Medborgarhuset in Falköping 6:00pm (18:00) tomorrow as part of the city's national day festivities. Sorry for the short notice but we're replacing another band that pulled out.





CANCELLED GIG
The gig we were supposed to do tonight at Younomia Festivalen in Skövde has been called off. When we arrived the organizers informed us that their policy did not allow our two friends/helpers/roadies/photographers/tapers/whatever that had travelled with us to enter the venue for free (strangely enough we were also informed that the headliner was allowed a crew of atleast eight people). We thought that this was unacceptable as we'd agreed to play for free and so we decided to cancel the gig.
Sorry about any inconvenience this might've caused anyone planning to attend.

Yep - we're playing Sommarfestivalen in Herrljunga on June 2. Last time we played there (in 2004 I believe) we weren't exactly "firing on all cylinders" so we'll do our best to make up for it this time! ;-)

All the recording is done and we're about to mix the goddamn thing! I tell ya - it's been a long, strange and bumpy trip but that's the way things are when you're doing everything yourself. It'll all be worth it though 'cos it's some spectacular shit! Stay tuned for further updates...

We're now almost finished with the recording of the album. All there's left to do is adding some backing vocals and other assorted bits and pieces. Oh, and we're gonna re-record a song, but that oughtta be done in no-time.

We can also report that, if nothing dramatic happens, the album will contain the following twelve songs: "Broken Record Blues", "Dead Weight", "Down & Out", "Half Dead", "International Rescue", "Just About Enough", "Let Me Be Mine", "Little Tipsy", "Love On A Mission (In The Dead Of Night)", "Not Too Bad", "Seven Days" and "Tinseltowns & The Cross To Bear".

NEW BAND BIOGRAPHY
Yup! We decided to give the biography section of the website an overhaul so we've uploaded a new spiced up bio/mission of intent. Check it out!





RECORD DEAL
After months of negotiations we're happy to announce that we're signing a recording contract with Italian independent label Nicotine Records! They've put out stuff by lotsa groovy bands like Electric Frankenstein, Gaza Strippers, Walter Lure etc and they will release our upcoming full-length debut album "Trees on a Hill" later this year.
We've recorded about 80% of the basic tracks and we estimate that it will be mixed, mastered and finished sometime next month.
