Cyberia 2v2-tour

At the beginning of this week, the Cyberia 2v2 tournament group stage was played, with several players from team BW- attending. Everyone managed to qualify. At monday next week, the final tournament will begin. In the first round, our players is seeded like this:

This sunday it's time for our biggest clan league to start up again with a new season. Ending up at the 4th place last season, we managed to stay in the 2nd division. Let's take a closer look at what we're up against this season:

Fox Honorary, Guano Kicked

BW-Fox has served well as a member, being the most active player and helping us out a lot in many clanwars through his time in the clan. He hasn't been active at all since the middle of august, though, and he doesn't seem to be comming back for at least a few months. He'll be missed.

BW-guano never really was an active member of the clan. He showed up for a few clanwars, but then just disappeared. We're now tired of his inactivity and have decided to kick him.

WGTCL Season Finished

Our clanwar against NaW was the 9th and also the last clanwar for this seasons WGTCL. It has been a tough season. Starting out during the early days of the summer, with barely a few active members, we got seeded to play [a2] in our first match. Not only did we had to start out with one of the best opponents, but also against AFM and [S2] the two following weeks. At the middle of the season, we finally put an end to our bad streak.

With a great comeback, we climbed the table, ending up at the 4th spot. GW everyone!
Apart from ending the season with 4 more points than NaW, we also beat them yesterday, and can still bear the rights of claiming the spot as the best clan in Scandinavia!

New Tryout

We would like to welcome a new trial member to the clan. Comming from one of the best european clans, MgZ)MysterLand will now be added to our roster as BW-MysterLand. Welcome!

As for our current inactive players, we've moved a few over to the "honorary members" list. One of BW-'s older members, BW-Gunnis, has just begun his military service and won't be able to be active anymore. Our strong protoss user, BW-ZpuX, who quit playing starcraft a few months ago, has also asked to be moved to the list as he's sure he'll never come back. BW-Iguana(liZ) has been a faithful member, showing up at clanwars when he's being told to. But during several months, he hasn't played anything at all, and is therefor now seen as a honorary member instead.

Mireille out, Daniel in

As it seems like there probably won't be any nordic WCG qualification at all, one of our best members, BW-Mireille, took farewell of the clan and said he will quit BW. But just as expected he couldn't resist BW and has just recently started playing again in another clan, the new Austrian multigaming-clan 96-gaming.

To fill the hole Mireille left behind, our honorary member BW-Daniel is now back as an ordinary member and will help us fighting in the clan leagues.

Today another showgame has been played. BW-Mireille played vs eVo.MFA. The showgame was in last minute changed to bo5 instead of bo7, the reason was world cup Sweden vs Paraguay (football), we all wanted to see it. There is not much to say about the showgame except that MFA couldnt stand a chance. Not even Hidden gates + dt build could stop Mireilles fiesty terran.

Nordic Clanleague Ranking

NCL (Nordic Clanleague) has been online for 2months and now at last all clanwars are over. For our part we have totally 7 clanwars played and 6wins 1 loss. Wich make us winners with 31 points.
The resistance hasnt been the best but in other hand we were not allowed to play with our best players. But BW-B did well and now it's decided to make a Playoffs next tuesday 20 June. How it is going to be i really don't know but please visit NCL hompage for further details. The biggest threat from our part is that we can't get enough players to get a lineup for the clanwars.. Please come to this event we are nonetheless 24 members in the clan.

WGTCL Season Ended

WGTCL Season is over for this time and admin at WGT as at last updated the scores for each team. So it is time to publish a news. A bit late news but better late then never. ;>
We have had a rough time at this time , 5 very even clanwars with 2-3 loss that could ended 3-2 to our favor and we got a 1-4 loss and the rest win and some W.O wins.

FakePeople & FanatiC are the 2 only clans that advance into Division 1 in our group while #3-6 can be pleased to stay and fight. And the good news is that we stay in Div2 and dont have to jump down to div3.

Why we didnt advance this time to div1 is the facts that we have had some very good opponents and we havent got our best lineup to play in time. I would like to thank all the active members
that has showed up and fought..

Remember now that BWCL SEASON STARTS THIS SUNDAY 18 june and we need to be locked and loaded if we want to take the first place. BW-EaMyO is the captain of BWCL-Team so any questions whine just want someone to pick on he is your man, Also we got BW-DFA as second in command of BWCL.
So first you messege call knock on door at EaMyO´s place then you call DFA.

PGT Season VIII Ended (swe)

Då var ännu en PGT-säsong över...Som vanligt så är det alltid medlemmar ur klanen som smurfar runt på PGT. Om vi tar en närmare titt på #1 så har vi ingen mindre än BW-Mireille som smurfade som DutchForce med en hollänsk flagga, på en andra plats har vi
BW-Fox som landade på hela 8994poäng, bara 6poäng från ranken när PGT resetade alla konton. Sen har vi fd ex medlemmen BW-SkiD- på en brons plats som tyvärr inte klarade av sin test period och på 4:e plats BW-DowN .

...Om vi går över till 2on2 ranken så har vi "Imapeeonyou" som egentligen är BW-Chaso som självklar segrare i 2on2 och som aktivaste PGT-spelande medlemmen i klanen med hela 234 spelade games, GW! På en 2:a plats har vi BW-TitaN som lirade upp sig till och sist men inte minst vår danske spelare BW-Iguana(LiZ) på en 3:e plats.

Såhär såg det iallfall ut statistik mässigt för hela klanen. Vi slutade på en 71:a plats vilket inte är speciellet mycket att hurra för, men däremot är det nog flest spelade games någonsin för oss i klanen på PGT, mer sånt vill vi se i fortsättningen.

Vi säger grattis till vinnarna och passar på att önska alla lycka till i näst kommande PGT säsong.

Clearing Up The Roster

Clearing Up The Roster
In a lot of our recent clanwars, Hades has struggled to get a full line up ready to play. Sometimes, he's even got to put himself in the line up. With a total of almost 30 members, Hades now had enough. It's time for a few members to leave.

Both BW-Daniel and BW-ruskiG have been inactive for several months. After a small chat with them, we've now kicked them from the clan as they probably won't come back as active starcraft players again. They will be reminded in our "Honorary Members"-list (comming soon).

As for the two tryouts, BW-Skid- and BW-SonYun, they both failed to join as they simply didn't show up for clanwars, and not even on europe at battle.net.

With the next BWCL season starting in a few days (18th June), we will need as good line up as possible, starting in division 1 this season. We wish us the best of luck.

Several good things have happened recently. First of all
BW-Freeloader and BW-Muffe has got a sponsorship from the Swedish PC-room Cyberia as they were searching for a Starcraft team to play for them in events. As the local LAN-Party, Krangparty, was about to take place, they were about to send their new players to participate in the 2v2 tournament. While Muffe wasn't able to go there due to other plans for the weekend, BW-D.O.C got the honour to replace him. Without losing a single game, team
BW-/Cyberia grabbed this years first price.

BW-Freeloader and BW-Muffe will now together with their new sponsor Cyberia try to host an online Starcraft tournament with prices given by Q-pad.

BW-Gathering 2006

During 19-21:th of May we had a Clan Meeting for Team BW-. It was held in BW-HadeS apartment in Stockholm and during the whole weekend all members got the chance to get together and get to know each other.
It was a very many clanmembers who took the chance and a few from our friend-clan NaW. We managed to put in 7 computers and a total of 18 players showed up. The weekend was a total success and there were a lot of playing, drinking (and some pizza of course).

Well met all members and we hope this will be an annual event!

Recent Happenings

A few changes have occured in the clan recently. First,
BW-Ledrash will now join Hades as a newswriter as our current webmaster (me) has his inactiv periods and gets lazy a little now and then.

Secondly, BW-D.O.C is no more a vice leader of the clan, but will go back to being just head organiser for PGT clanwars.

As for BWCL, BW-EaMyO and a new member will arrange our clanwars in the future. Leaving cF-, he will from today be a member of BW-. Welcome BW-DFA!.

BWCL - Div1 Next Season

The last clanwar for the season was played this evening. With almost as many points as Last, the clanwar versus nLx was deciding for the outcome of Team BW- in BWCL.

With a flawless 6-0 result in favour for BW-, and with Last losing to IMP in their last match, the victory was ours! The 49 points placed us in the 2nd place, just a single point behind IMP. This means advancement to division 1 in the next season!

3 New Members

For some time it has been quite slow with updates at our website so let's do it now:

For starters we have BW-guanO who joined us 27:th of April as a fully adequate member, he is BW-TitaN's 2:2 ally and is also playing in the Norwegian A-National team.

The 8:th of May a brazilian guy named Stevan Alex joined the team as a trial member. He is 17 years old and playes with the nick BW-SkiD-

Finally we are happy to report that a younger guy (age of 14) joined us during the night, also as a trial member. He is playing in the US B-National Team and have chosen BW-SonYun as his nickname.

With 128 teams participating there's now only 4 teams left. So far we have won against alpha, Play.it, -sT-, .SoD and puLs. This Sunday it's time for the semifinals against the american team rS to take place. In the other side of the brackets, MgZ) and ash. will fight for the second spot in the final.

Tonight another season of the highly skilled, korean dominated ladder PGT ended. Compared to the previous season most players played a lot more this time. Our top-10 at PGT site doesn't include our two highest ranked players for the season, though.

As always we've got smurfs hiding, and as usual one of them is always BW-DowN. He didn't made it as the #1 in the clan this season, but a B+ ranking and a second place is nothing to be ashamed of!

The 1st place this time goes to the one of the most recent recruits. His powerful protoss made his way to the A- rank but went into a loss streak, still ending as a B+. Well done, BW-Zpux!

Let us also mention BW-Freeloader with a total amount of 161 games played this season which makes him our most active PGT player for this season.
