BW- Klanträff 20-21 Maj

Det har pratats mycket på sistone om en planerad klanträff. Efterfrågan har varit stor, därför kommer det bara finnas ett begränsat antal platser då det är tänkt att vi ska ha den hemma hos mig. Alla medlemmar i klanen är välkommna och kommer i första hand att prioteras. Blir det platser över kommer vänner till mig/oss också att bjudas in.

Intresse anmälan görs personligen till mig, antingen genom msn/b-net eller via tele. Ni har ca 1månad på er att tänka/ta ställning och besluta om ni kan och vill komma, dock längst t.o.m 30april, sen går platserna över till andra intresserade vänner.

Vad gör man på en klanträff? -Tjaaa, det är ett unikt och bra tillfälle att få träffa och lära känna sina klanpolare samtidigt som man umgås och har skoj ihop. Tänk på att vara ute i god tid med tåg/buss/flygbiljetter så ni inte väntar till sista dagen. För mer info kontakta vänligen mig.

BW- Banned From WTC...!

Today i got a message telling us that we can't continue playing in WTC and WGTCL. In other words we have been banned, since one person from our clan have used maphack on serveral occasions. We also recieved this mail from wgt-admin Choblar.

"BW-XXXX has been caught using maphack on several occasions. This is confirmed by bwchart as the player clicks
on buildings/units whitout actually seeing it.
The result of these actions will be a ban from WTC/division 2b. Included in this mail is a zipfile containing the replay and a textfile with the actions. BW-XXXX will also get a permant ban from WGTour."

Jag vet inte riktigt vart jag ska börja killar, men det här mailet gör det verkligen inte lätt för mig eller vårt team. Jag vet inte om jag ska vara förbannad, arg eller besviken men jag trodde ändå att folk i klanen visste bättre. BW- har alltid stått för just: manner, och här har vi ertappats med att ha fuskat, HUR FAN SER DETTA UT??? Vad sänder vårt team ut för signaler?!? Detta är både skam och så jävla respektlöst av personen i fråga gentemot sina klanpolare inklusive hela klanen. Jag kommer personligen att ta kontakt med den skyldiga och ställa "han" tillsvars. Därefter blir det BAN T.O.M LIFE i både #OP BW-/Ventrilo Serven och vårt forum UTAN några som helst undantag!!! Detta var droppen som fick bägaren att rinna över. T_T

SCCL Invitation!

Now, my gentlemen, it will be time for Team BW- to really show what we're made of. We will soon face our greatest challenge so far as we now have been invited to qualify for the highest skilled clan league outside of Korea. Everyone reading this newspost will most likely know about it already, so I don't have to write down what kind of opponents there is to play against. Not only is it a great honour but there's also price money to fight for.

Hades and TuFFeR have also decided that all members that want to be a part of the SCCL-team will need to have a pgt account with at least B- as ladder high.

Two Trial Members

Team BW- continues to increase in numbers. This time we have decided to let two players enter a trial period before they can call themselves members.

As usual, our recruitments skill level is at a high level. First off we have ZpuX, one of swedens finest protoss players at the moment. After the fall of eye., he got left without a clan and has been on his own until now. He's also a part of swe-A (correct?).
Second, we've got Fox, aka ash.Fox. Before he went inactive he won several showgames at gamingeye, and also won a ladder playoff. He's now going active again, playing under the BW- tag.

Playz Showmatch #2

Another newspost about BW-Mireille's latest achievements. This time, it was an offline showmatch against rS.Habit. The match was supposed to be played in a best of 7, but after Mireille finished him off with a 4-1 result, they decided to play the two remaining matches anyway, which increased his final score to an impressive 6-1.

GG.net Kickoff Tour

When mYm.Draco wasn't able to participate, another player got the chance to play in this highly skilled tournament, with a Razer Copperhead mouse as a price. BW-Mireille was the one who got the opportunity to play instead of him.

Starting off with ToT)Midian( as opponent, Mireille did really great and managed to beat him 2-0. In the second round, iG.KaaZ waited for him, after just hitting rS.Habit out of the tournament. Not even KaaZ incredible zerg stopped Mireilles way through the bracket. After a 2-1 victory, he was to face mYm.Advokate in the semifinals. As it was only a single eliminitation tour, it all came to an end here after a 0-2 loss against one of the best TvT-players outside of korea.

Mireille To Our Roster

Mireille is not only a big name in his homecountries Sweden and Norway, but he's even quite known in the rest of europe by his earlier accounts iG.Mireille or rS.Mireille.

He's currently playing for the norwegian national team and has been doing great in different events, such as winning the swedish Gamingeye ladder playoffs.

WGT Season Ended

Just several days after PGT season VI closed it's now time for WGT to do the same. So let us take a look at our own top-10 ranking.

A nice performance by some of the members. And this time, there's no smurfs hiding for us... or wait, could there actually be one?

Two New Members!

When our nordic rivals, eye., had to split up due lack of administration, shejtaN was left without a clan. Not for too long, though, as he now has joined BW-. Except for eye., he's also known as an ex member of clan puLs and currently an active member of swe-b.

Secondly, a player not as known as the previous one has joined us. But that doesn't mean he hasn't got the skills. Succeding in winning all of his tryout games, he managed to convince us. iR.mutta was his account, and will for sure fit in the team with his new, good looking nickname!

Yesterday, it was the last chance of getting a spot in the great Allstar tournament. Of course some BW- members had to make a last try for getting the 1st place. TuFFeR and PuM went strong trought the tour and was seeded to play in the semifinals for a place in the finals.

After an even 2-1 victory he was up against the former SWE-A member (i think) Brejk-Ds-. After beating him 3-0, his victory was well deserved. On his way he also defeated c.O)Sayonara and PerfecSisYs.

As he won the fourth qualification tour, he will share group with Stinger, Xodiac and Gurram. GL TuFFeR and DowN!

Tonight, the third of the four qualification tours, for the nordic Allstar-tour at Gamingeye.com, finished. TuFFeR, evilDON, DowN and PuM all participated in hope for getting in the 1st place and a place in the great Allstar-tour.

BW-DowN fought his way through lh)Jiraiya-TS, PHALLE-Ds, MgZ)SHUTTLEs and BW-evilDON before he was to face empolenZ)Hc) in the great final. After a 5pool failure, DowN finally won the last deciding game.

We wish him the best of luck in his group where he is to face the strong players DaZe, Jesse and Rapide.

Even More Changes

We didn't expect more members to leave / join the clan so soon after all those changes in the member rooster. One of the newer members, BW-Shoreline, didn't want to play for us anymore and has decided to leave the clan.

A good friend to BW-D.O.C has now joined our ranks. He is well known in sweden as uT)TuFFeR, but will now be known as BW-TuFFeR.

Because of a lot of moments of bad manner, we have finally come to the heart breaking decision to kick BW-C1os3d. Hades have warned him several times, without any successful results. This had also to do with some personal conflicts.

Koth - Match #2

In the second round of the koth, there have been some misunderstandings about the rules. As I wasn't there myself, I can just tell you what I've heard.

It was a few days before the match decided to have the koth to be played in a bo7 instead of a bo5. BW-Freeloader saw this as a big disadvantage, because he simply was not in the mood to play so many games.

In the second game, BW-Iguana(liZ) chose Gaia as he lost the first match. What none of the players knew was that the map list didn't include this map.

In the rules, that has now been changed, we was told that the previous king should be the one to pick the map for the first game. No one told BW-Freeloader about this, because no one thought about it, or even knew about it.

You can probably see that BW-Freeloader lost the interest to fight in the last two games. He told me to give BW-Iguana(liZ) the win trought WO, but I told him to play.

Some Great Changes

In last few days, BW- has gone through some very big changes in the members rooster. Our beloved old school members BW-Valli and BW-Suecia have left the clan, after a lot of discussions about the management. A very sad thing for us, indeed.

We've talked to what now is ex BW-Sunken and
BW-Citroon. After a few questions, we've decided not to keep them as members as they will probably not become active again. We've also removed BW-ArtCP due lack of interest in the clan. He's neither showed his face at battle.net or over at the guestbook.

Together with BW-Space, we also got another new addition to the team. He is known as evilDON and can now be found as BW-evilDON. Welcome!

The first games in our very own king of the hill event has now been played. The first two challengers fighting for the hill was:

BW-Freeloader came out as the winner in a very even fight. Next player to challenge BW-Freeloader will be another zerg player: BW-Iguana(liZ)

Another New Member

BW- has rapidly increased in numbers. This new member is quite well known in the swedish community, mostly because his place as a swe-b national team member.

Site Updates

Active members of the site have probably noticed a few changes a little now and then. The member profiles is about to come up soon.

The small compability problem we had with IE users in the members section, where they weren't able to see all of the members without scrolling down in the frame, is as good as solved.

And finally BW-Valli has finished the koth-page we all have wanted for so long. We will soon anounce a date for the first koth-match.

Team wG) joins BW-

Recently, BW- has gone through a lots of changes. The union between wG and BW- seems to be appreciated by the most members, with only a few upsets. The six most active players from wG have been moved to BW-, and soon all of them can be found in the members section.

None heard from wG)RubixCube or wG)Down yet.
wG have also taken some greater positions in the clan. Hades is no longer alone as the clanleader. It is now shared with me, Muffe. Along with Vega, Rubixcube will take a place as a vice clanleader.

Not only have we increased in numbers. Me and Hades have also decided to get rid of a couple of inactive players who never show's any interest in the clan. The following players are no longer members of the clan:

One of the latest recruits called BW-Vilcans has recently been kicked beacause of very bad behavior when accusing another member of the clan for using maphack. Therefor, he is no longer considered a member of the clan.

BW growing bigger

Lately, there have been so many players asking to join BW. Many tryouts have been played, but just two of them have showed himself having a nice balance between manner, activity and, of course, gaming skills.
The first of thouse two is quite well known in the swedish community, mostly for a funny thread at the gamingeye forum where many people gets upset about his topic. Today, thats history. Now he's a nice little fellow, cute as a kitty.
Second, we have this old school friend to Hades. He is known as a former member of the clan. Back then, he called himself BW-Dude. Now he've chosed the nick Gunnis instead.
A warm welcome to you BW-ArtCP and BW-Gunnis. I'm sure you'll pass your trial week.

Too many tryouts?
And no, the newspost isn't over yet. As BW has grown so much in popularity, Hades felt that now he's able to raise the skill level of all who join, except for those we know already as friends for BW. To join, we want you to:
1. Show people respect and have a nice manner.
2. Be active. Tell us when going on vacation etc.
3. Having skills equal to B6 (or maybe C0).

As you can see, the priority for those 3 things is the same as it always have been. We still play for fun, and having members who doesn't know how to treat each other isn't fun at all.

Showgame - BW vs NaW

This Sunday, not only wgtcl was to be played. Since NaW hasn't got enough members for a traditional clanwar, we decided to have some kind of rivalgame, or showmatch, to be played instead. BW's greatest player was up against the strong terran NaW-Troy, who indeed was a worthy opponent. Too bad he wasn't good enough.

It has come to my attention that todays date, 23 october, is the last day that the clans in our division can play their games.
