The Russo-Japanese war 1904-05

This war is probably most known for the fiasco of the Russian Baltic navy, sailing around the globe just in order to be defeated at Tsushima. The events that took place in the far east is however interesting from several other aspects as well. The land war showed some of the events that ten years later would shock the world, the effects of machine guns and barbed wires. The war was also revolutionary on the psychological arena, since it showed that the European great-powers in fact were beatable by non-Europeans.

Out there on the web there are a load of good sites covering all possible aspects of this war, and I doesn't intend to compete with them. Instead I will put up some links to sites that I find interesting.

My contribution will be focused on the stuff that a figure war gamer might find useful. It will be photos of figures and maybe some scenarios.

Pleas enjoy and don't hesitate to send me an e-mail
