On this page I will show pictures on figures suitable for this period. Initially all new figures will be portrayed as primed, and as I manage to paint them they will also be shown in colour. I intend to take pictures of figures from different manufactures side- by side in order to show how they match each other.

Japanese infantry from Irregular (FZ 54). This figure comes with one pose but several different heads. The figures require some minor trimming before painting. I really like these guys. They are well proportioned and have a good pose.
Some painted Jap's.

Japanese cavalry from Irregular (FZ 56) and a cavalry officer (FZ 57). The troopers comes in at least two different variations on how the pointing arm is held. These figures require some serious trimming. They are a bit rough or raw in the design but the details are clear and they are well proportioned. The pose of the officer is a little too dramatic...

Irregulars Japanese artillery crew (FZ 59) and to the far right a Japanese infantry officer officer (FZ55). To the artillery is also a cannon which is shown further down. These figures are clean and well proportioned.

I haven't yet bought any of the Irregulars Russian infantry of their RJW series, but I do have some of their WW1 line. These figures are the (NC101) which comes in at least four different variations. This line has received some very good critique on one WW1-site and I fully share that opinion. These figures are nice, clean ad well proportioned. I haven't checked if the are all right for the RJW period.

The Irregulars Russian RJW artillery crew (FZ66) are flanked by their WW1 infantry officer (NC105) and their WW1 Drummer (NC104). All figures are clean and well proportioned. The officer comes in one variation that is wearing the great coat.

The Irregulars 1904 Russian dragons (FZ64) and a cavalry officer/General (FZ65). All figures are a bit rough but has good details and proportions. The officer has, just like his Japanese colleague, a little dramatic pose.
