How to get there?
1)Coming from Merida or Barinas: Once in the intersection to Barinas/Merida/Valera, which is the point called Apartaderos, take the road towards Pico El Aguila-Valera. After approximately 5 minutes driving, take the road to the left indicating the way to Llano del Hato and el Observatorio. You will see Casa Solar to your left after approximately 4 minutes driving.
2)Coming from Valera: 15 minutes after passing Pico El Aguila, you should take a right on the road going to Llano del Hato and el Observatorio. On this road is Casa Solar. Unfortunately, coming down from Pico El Aguila there are no good signs indicating when to take a right. If you come to the gas station in Apartaderos you have come too far and the best thing is to go back an follow directions explained above.
