What is silence made of in the old classic Hollywood movies? The concept of Featured Silence is focusing solely on the soundtrack of a fistful of feature film classics. After removing the dialogue, the score and other key elements in the soundtracks, what remains? The answer is clear in the silence that is created within this work, and the result is more intriguing and intimate than one might first have thought.
