Twin Peaks

A very exciting and unusual TV-show.
It has been a while since I saw it now, but it still remains a favourite. The fact that you don't really understand all of it (well, at least I don't), makes it even more exciting! It is also a very creepy and scary show, which I like a lot!

"Bob" is actually the scariest thing I have ever seen on TV!! Not many persons or storylines on TV scare me, but I'm practically terrified of Bob!! I think that the only other time I've been really unnerved watching TV was when I saw "The Gentlemen" in the episode "Hush" of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

There are lots of very cool characters in the series, of course I do like Dale Cooper with his black coffee adn cherry pie! The Log Lady is also cool, and Sheriff Truman is very nice. Characters I truly dislike - apart from Bob, which just make me want to scream! - are Dr. Jacoby, who's a real creep, Nadine, who is selfish and just extremely annoying, and Windom Ealre, who is very very scary!

The show really is top-quality all the way, but it's taken me a while to appreciate the ending of the last episode! The fact that Cooper doesn't handle Bob but rather the other way around, felt very wrong the first times I watched the show. Now though, it seems to start making sense. This "prescence", Bob, and The Black Lodge have existed out there for sooo long, it's a bit far fetched to think Cooper could just "solve" it all ...

If you haven't figured out it yet, I'm a bit oposed to "happy endings", so this ending suits me just fine! It would have ben interesting to see a follow-up of the show - what did happen to Cooper/Bob and the rest of Twin Peaks?!?
