Les Miserables

My absolutely, number one, without any doubt, totally, completely and utterly favourite musical!

I have seen Les Misérables twice in West End, London, in 2004 with Jeff Leyton as Jean Valjean and Michael McCarthy as Inspector Javert. I really think that was close to the most memorable moments in my life! I completey adore the story, the music, the characters ... everything connected to this musical is the best!!

The first time I came in touch with Les Misérables was when I watched the videorecording of the Tenth Anniversary Concert from 1995 and I fell for it immediately!! The cast of that particular performance is outstanding, and although I have heard a number of other artists perform, the TAC remains my favourite! One person did stand out a little extra, namely Philip Quast, who captured my heard with his interpretation of Inspector Javert. Read more about Philip Quast!
