I've been a huge James Bond-fan since I saw my very first Bond movie! It was Roger Moore's Octopussy from 1983. In fact, this would have been around the time Octopussy was first realeased on video in Sweden, I remember being about seven years old (I turned seven in January 1985). I loved the movie right away, and have since then watched all the Bond films a number of times!

The first Bond film I ever saw at the cinema was Licence To Kill with Timothy Dalton. I was eleven years old (1989), but my parents took me to see it. Still, there were some disturbing scenes - seeing Krest get blown up in the pressure chamber was maybe not suitable for an eleven-year-old girl, but I liked the movie anyway! Since then, I have seen all the new Bond films at the cinema, which is a great tradition!

I like the general feel of the Bond movies! James Bond is this ultimate superhero, truly the "good guy", yet he has some less than admirable habits ... like drinking, smoking, the fact that he uses women whenever he feels like it. Still, you can't help but loving him! In the later Bond films, pretty much from when Timothy Dalton took over in 1987, we have seen a more humane and emotional side of James Bond. I both like and don't like that! I guess it's good because it makes us look at James Bond more like a human being and less like a comic book superhero. Still, somewhere deep inside I feel like he should be the comic book superhero ....
