Goldfinger

Goldfinger is one of my favourite Bond movies, it was actually my first favourite, although I have accumulated a few more over the years.

Sean Connery gives another excellent performance, and Gert Frobe playing Auric Goldfinger ("Sounds like a French nailpolish", as Bond puts it!) is a great villain! Still, Oddjob manages to steal the show, seeing him and his rather special hat is a true Bond-classic. I like the way Bond kills Oddjob, it's a nice twist. Bond gets his hands on Oddjob's hat, and as everybody knows, Bond is an expert on everything! It's a certainty Bond is going to kill the baddie, but he misses!!! The situation turns rather quickly, but since Bond is the ultimate hero, he does manage to get rid of Oddjob in the end!

Pussy Galore is a very nice and interesting character! She's a very gutsy lady and in the early films she's one of the few women that aren't portrayed as helpless, immediately falling for Bond and doing whatever he tells them! I like that a lot!! For instance, during her first meeting with Bond, she calmly states, "You can turn off the charm. I'm immune."
