Disney

I am a big Disney fan and have been for a long time. The Disney movies are wonderfully created and is suitable for an adult audience as well as for children! Going to Walt Disney World in Florida when I was about eleven years old was a wonderful experience that I will treasure forever!!

I like all the Disney movies I've seen, but naturally I have some favourites!!

The Lion King
My number one favourite up to now! This movie has absolutely everything, it's serious, yet with a comedy that is hilarious (don't just just love Timon and Pumba?!?!?), it's got a lovestory, it's got a wonderful theme of believing in yourself and knowing who you are!! I just love it!! Simba is a wonderful character, who grows enormously during the film. Scar makes an excellent villain, he's truly evil and will do anything to achieve his goal and be the king! Timon and Pumba are so funny, you just gotta lova 'em!! I also like the strange monkey, Rafiki, who is the coolest character! Naturally, I have seen the two sequels as well. I like them a lot, but none of them come even close to the first one!

Aristocats
As I love cats a lot, this movie is an obvious favourite! The very first record my parents bought me (sometime in the very early 1980s, way before cds ...) - I must have been about three years old - was in fact Aristocats, and I loved it even back then! I practically knew all the dialogue by heart! I guess the storyline isn't exactly thrilling, but you learn to love all the characters in a very special way. In this case, the characters make the movie! Well, I guess you don't like Edgar very much, but he's so goofy, you can't really dislike him either! Duchess feels like the typical house cat, very loyal ... actually, maybe a bit too loyal, as most house cats - no matter how much they love their keepers - tend to want their own way (YES, I am speaking from experience - sorry about that, Zorro! )! Marie, Tolouse and Berleose, the kittens, are also wonderful!! Extremely cute and always up to mischief - like most kittens! And, of course, Thomas O'Malley, the wild cat! Looking after himself and nobody else ... until he falls head over heals for Duchess! There are lots of minor characters I like as well - like the funny ducks with their drunk uncle - - and the totally cool horse (I've forgotten his name right now, sorry!) and also the mouse, Rouquefour!!

Winnie the Pooh
Also a Disney favourite, of course!! I like all the characters, but my favourite among them is without a doubt Tigger! He is the coolest!!! I also like ... well, I guess you could say he's Tigger's oposite ... Eyeore! He's so down and depressed all the time, and I sort of recognize that, I know exactly how life tends to be when you feel like that. I like Tigger because he's cool and goofy and always happy, and I like Eyeore because I can relate to him in a very real way!

Other favourite Disney movies include: Atlantis, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Junglebook, Lady and the Tramp, Robin Hood, Monster's Inc., Tarzan and many moore! I also like the old classic Disney characters like Donald, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale and all the others!! When I visited DisneyWorld, I actually got a hug from Chip!!
