Pierce Brosnan

Alias: Bond, James Bond!

Pierce Brosnan is a wonderful actor, I think he is probably the best James Bond ever (except perhaps Sean Connery, but the movies, and there for the character of James Bond, are very different - and after all, there is a big difference between the 1960s and the 1990s/2000s - so it is hard to compare the actors fairly!).

Mr. Brosnan has done so much more than James Bond, though. It's nice to see him in Remington Steele - he is so young! - and he also does great work in movies like The Nephew and The Thomas Crown Affair. Unfortunately, I haven't had the oportunity to see his movie Evelyn, but from what I've heard of it, it seems very good! I hope I can see it soon!

It seems Pierce Brosnan has found happiness again, after the tragic loss of his wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1991. He is re-married with Keely Shaye Smith, and they have two sonds together, Dylan Thomas and Paris Becket. Mr. Brosnan is quite the family man, Cassandra had two children - Charlotte and Christopher - in a previous marriage and Pierce adopted them when their father died in 1986. Pierce and Casandra had a son, Sean, together, so Mr. Brosnan is now a happy father of five!
