I first saw Anthony Stewart Head in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where he played Watcher Rupert Giles. He is a nice contrast to the otherwise young members of the "Scooby Gang", but I am most impressed by his overall performance! He has the rare ability to be able to act out an entire scene without speaking a single word, and still get the message across!

In Britain, he became well-known for his part in the Gold Blend-commercials (in America, I believe they were called Taster's Choice), and he has also done some work in musical theatre, such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Chess where he played Freedie, as well as regular theatre work.

I have never had the privilege to see Mr. Head perform live, but it was a real joy to see him singing in the famous musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Once More, With Feeling", and it would be fantastic to see him live!!
