I wanted to explore with shapes and forms in the third dimension in a more direct way and therefore began working with ceramics. It ´s a special feeling to use your hands to create the shapes in a soft material and then transform them into a solid in the oven. My work cover the range from experiments in shape and colour to "difficult" objects describing human conditions and dramas of various kinds, the effects of war, human remains, boat refugees etc
