The association Ystads Segelfartygsförening bought the historical ship, with the intention of makeing her into a trainingship. During summermonths 20 trainees and 7 crew sails her, mainly in the Baltic-sea and Danish waters. During  the summer Helene also makes evening-sails with passengers.
