Så här ser min lilla s.k. studio ut till vänster på bilden. Ingen proffisionellt alls utan enbart en favorithobby! Jag kopplar min gitarr till någon av mina boxar eller förstärkaren som därifrån sen är kopplad till mitt ljudkort. Jag kör ljudkortet genom min ljudanläggning för att få en bättre ljudbild när jag jobbar. Jag tillverkar grunderna i ett sequenserprogram, Sonar, genom att skriva in noterna förvart instrument och spår i midit. När det är gjort så konverterar jag spåren vart för sig till wave i programmet, och sparar till en egen mapp. Sen så startar jag upp en ny fil i Sonar för enbart audio dår jag importerar spåren var för sig. Nu kan jag lägga på effekter och mixa med de olika spåren som jag vill ha det. Jag mixar också ihop en enkel bt för mina olika gitarrinspelningar som jag kan lägga till de andra wavespåren för slutmixen senare. Därefter så mixar jag ihop det hela kör ut det till wave eller mp3. Färdigt. Detta är ju en förenklad beskrivning av proceduren och man får exprimentera sig fram tills man hittar rätt. Kan säga så här, den ena dagen är inte den andra lik med musikörat så när man tycker man är färdig för slutmix så ska man låta det vara en dag eller två. Låter det lika bra som första då är det positivt! Om nu någon skulle vilja ha en närmare beskrivning på mitt inspelningssätt så majla mig gärna så får vi se om jag kan hjälpa på något vis.

Here's my own little home recording studio as you can see at the picture to the left. Nothing proffesional, this just a hobby with great interest to me. I connect my guitar through my boxes or amps to my sound card. I've also connected my sound card to my sound system to get a better soundstage. I create my backings basicly in midi in a sequenser program, Sonar. Starting with writing in notes for each instrument and track seperatly by hand into the midi. When it is done I convert each track seperatly in to wave and save them into a separate folder just for wavetracks. When it's done I start a new audiofile in sonar and import the tracks separatly into it. Now I can add different effects and mix however I want it to sound. For my guitar recordings I mix a simple backingtrack to use for that as the pc:s cpu is not enough to do a real time recording alltogether. When it's done I save each guitar track as the other ones and import them for a final mix. After the final mix I convert it all to a wave file or an mp3 file and my work is done. This is a short description of how I use my home made studio and it is a lot of experiment back and forth before one is satified with the outcome. What sounds great one day sounds like crap the other day. I always wait before I complet my tune a couple of days and if it sounds just as great as the first time i'm satified.
