Rim dimensions will be, front 17" x 8"    rear 17" x 11,5"
Tires front 17" x 245/45   rear 17" x 315/35

The rims are of split rim type, separate rims from Image Wheels, and my own castings for the centers
With pin drive and a 60mm center nut
In that way they will come very close to the original

Machining of the casting model, to be filled with sand

Bottom left a hardened tool half, quite heavy to handle by hand (20Kg)

The skilled caster from Fundo is pouring in the Aluminum SIS4253,      1 hour of cooling before vibration rinsing could take place. After that there was cooling by water, cutting of ingots and sandblasting and finally x-ray inspection for air cavities, and then they was put into the oven for hardening.
After machining I tested the balance and they was only 20 gram of balance.

 

The result looks nice, just some powder coating left. And assembling of 140 M6 screws.


Rear Wheel, 11 inch wide!! the 5 pockets for the pin drive can be seen
And the center hole takes the M60 center nut.
