Warning this small test is strictly nonscientistic! |
I just forced the skis down to a stable table put a rigid tight fitting aluminum profile about 700mmn long in to the boot. |
Then used a digital fish scale to make sure to use the same force in each off my measuring. |
I used a long millimeter divided scale to measure distance to the wall in the back at the top of the aluminum profile. |
I got this figures: |
1. with no force on de scale 605mm to the back wall 605mm no movement :0) |
2. With 6.5kg force on the fish scale standard binding 725mm a 120mm movement |
3.With 6.5kg force on the fish scale modified binding 700mm a 95mm movement (20% less) |
But as mentioned earlier this is strictly low quality science measurements. |
This image show you how I shortened my rails of |
to further improve the torsion rigidity of the NX 21 binding. |
This operation demands power tools. |
Good luck with your tweaking/ Stefan |
