| "Shania
Twain and the beautiful mirror" by Egon Lundberg 04-29-2002 The sun was shining bright over the green forest and the little birds were singing out from their small but cute hearts. Suddenly a very beautiful sound made itself heard and all the animals in the forest silenced. - What was that? whispered one of the birds. - I do not know, but it was very beautiful! answered one of the older and wiser birds. Suddenly the beautiful sound echoed through the forest again and everyone felt how their souls was instantly filled with warmth and happiness. - Come! said the old and wise bird. The old bird left the tree and flew away towards the other end of the forest from where the sound came from. All the other birds followed it and after one minute they stopped and landed one a big, big tree that was facing a very beautiful lake. - Look! said the old bird and a tear fell from its eye. Everyone looked at the lake. There was someone sitting beside it, in the green and warm grass - a very beautiful creature. Suddenly it started singing and the day immediatly became warmer and more shining and wonderful! And now they all also saw that the creature was a human being, a woman - a very, very, very beautiful woman! They left the tree and flew down to her. - Who are you? asked the smallest of the birds. The woman looked at it and answered: - My name is Shania Twain and I love to sing. Who are all of you? - We are just cute birds who loves to sing, too! answered the little bird. Suddenly the old and wise bird raised its wing and said: - Shania, please, could you do the world a favour? - Of course, she answered. What is it? A tear fell from the old bird's eye and it asked her: - Could you look into the water? To make the world an even more beautiful place? Shania smiled, got up on her feet and walked closer to the glimmering water. The birds followed her and suddenly many other animals came out from the forest to be part of what was going to happen. Shania Twain looked into the water and faced the reflection of herself. She smiled again and her beauty made the lake became the most beautiful mirror in the world.
