i saw a dog in arrow-pond park
i tried to bark but i got no response
i took a walk to somewhere else
was feeling bad and i said to myself
you could be a star and drive a jaguar
you could be a king and let your sabre swing
you could be a queen and name a submarine
or you could be a dog and hear the door bell ring
his masters voice is loud and clear
but i can't hear his supersonic gear
i catch a clog while in the air
now i'm a dog so i shouldn't really care
