i looked around it was a beautiful place
the trees are green and the water is blue there

i took a train to a faraway town
i had a crate with a pretty china
the train was late and the china was gone
but there's a bar on the back of this diner

too many men had to go in this way
i'm not the first, not the second to go there
i had it going but it ended instead
it wasn't bad but i'm glad it's over
