orange light sneaking through my window
sunday noise is whispering in my ears
telephone wouldn't dare to ring now
and the dog is fooling around upstairs
and if you tell me there's a dream on the rooftop
i'm gonna climb up there and stay till tomorrow

and if you tell me there's a fish in my teardrop
you might be right i don't know where it came from
and if you tell me there's a bomb in my pillow
it could be true but why should i believe in you
i see the rainbow just beside the highway
it's crystal clear now and it's going my way

i bet there's never been a better day than this

could be rain could be snow and cloudy
monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday or friday
i'm going shopping it's not so crowded
i see the girl that woke me up last sunday
