Magician of the silver sky ~Summary and Review~
*contains spoiler, I recommend you not to read it if you haven't seen the movie... though you can read the first paragraph*

I think most of you must have gone to the official movie site and seen the trailor, right? Therefore you all know it's about Kaito Kid... as I said before, I'm not very fond of Kid... thus before I watched this movie... I didn't have much expectaions and wasn't so eager to see it either... but after I've seen it... I was like.... this movie is absolutely spectacular... definitely one of the best Conan movie ever shot...

As other Kid-related stories... this movie starts off with Kid who wants to steal the precious stone, the >>stone of destiny<< from a famous Japanese actress and therefore he has sent a letter of challenge to her... as usual, his letters are always unintelligible so she goes to Mouri Kogoro and seeks help from him. Mouri has concluded that Kid will appear after their Drama performenace and steal the precious stone that she'll be wearing... therefore they (Mouri, Ran, Conan, the Detective Boys and Sonoko) go to see the drama performance on that day... before the performance, they are at backstage and are introduced to some of the characters... then as expected from a kid-related case... Nagamori Inspector appears.... and he has brought a good helper who is recommended by Megure Inspector.. and surprisingly, this person is....

...Shinichi. Conan is shocked when he sees him (of course, imagine seeing yourself as another person...) and he has failed to convince them that this Shinichi is disguised by kid... because othervise he must tell them his true identity... so this is the most funniest part.... as I watched Conan being annoyed by the fake Shinichi it made me laugh...
Anyways... Conan watches Kid during the drama and he runs after him as kid leaves the room... and Conan unmasks his disguise of a police officer and follows him to the top of the roof (the scene where the movie starts off)...
After their conversation kid attacks Conan, and Conan falls down from the roof.... well he does that on purpose because he is wearing a parachute... so he and kid are both flying in the sky and chasing each other... but as anticipated... Kid takes flight before Conan can catch him...

The next day... they follow the drama group and go onboard the airplane... during the flight Conan watches the actress and her precious stone all the time... then an unexpected event takes place...

The actress suddenly died of cyanic acid... I'm gonna make this part short.... Conan deduces the case and finds the culprit in no time... then he uses Kisaki Eri to tell the case... and the murder confesses...

This is the climax of the movie and also the best part... since the captains have kissed the actress' hand before so they've gotten some poison in their hands... and as they eat they are poisoned and are unable to control the plane.... so kid in disguise of one of the actors says he can fly it and he wants Conan to be the co-pilot... I'm not gonna write so detail in this part but this part is absolutely the best part... they fail to land at the airport and are running out of fuel and stuff.... and at last Ran happens to be the pilot instead... and after kid has fleed Ran feels very low... they want to descend on the harbor but it is too dark outside..... and here is the absolute BESTEST part... Conan says he wants to pee but actually he calls Ran with Shinichi's voice... and as you may already know Ran confesses her love to Shinichi... I nearly cried in this part....
Kid has made hundreds of police cars chasing him and finally all the cars surround the harbor and have lighten up the whole place... Shinichi tells Ran what to do through the phone and they finally land savely...

In the very last part... kid appears in front of Ran and asks her about her three measurements and stuff... so Ran thinks that the one that called her on the plane was not Shinichi... but kid... Shinichi phones her again and she tells him about it.... but sadly... he doesn't tell her the truth...
