Some reviews from various Metal Zines.

Agony Zone:
Convulsion plays Stockholm death. In their own words. I don't know
if I agree, though. They remind more of Cannibal Corpse or other
US style, gore bands, than for example Dismember or Unleashed.
Other than that, I can assure that what Convulsion do, they do
well. Perhabs they don't exactly fill a gap, i.e their music isn't
the most innovative ever seen. But, honestly, is there such a thing
as too many brutal death metal bands? Not as long as they know how
to play, I say. "Severe and Violent" is a demo showing a band with
potential. I'd like to see what Convulsion can achieve on an album.

Sweden Rock Magazine:
An experienced crew from our capital delivers first-rate death
with much groove to it. From time to time it's so easy it's almost like
pop. The track "Pleasure Thru Killing" for example, is catchy and
pleasant with a cool chorus. The band doesn't fit in among the
heaviest but that might not be their ambition, and even if I'd
preferred heavier vocals and less buzz in the guitar sound,
theoverall opinion is very good.
