Convulsion consists of five deranged minds hailing from Täby outside of Stockholm.
The band was put in motion in 2005 with the goal to play hellish death metal, influenced by the Swedish old school scene with an injection of American brutality. In 2007 a three song demo was recorded in Black Lounge Studios, Avesta, with Jonas Kjellgren (Centinex, Scar Symetry) behind the mixerboard.

At the moment the band has about twelve songs finished, but new stuff is constantly being made.
Before the present line-up was determined in 2005, (parts of) the band had existed on what could be called hobby-basis for some years, with countless member-changes and names. They now decided to put some serious, effort into it and worked hard with the songs and the over all sound of the band. "Severe and Violent" is first and foremost the result of this line-up´s work.
