How to get the held badges

The very, very safe way at lvl 30+
Get a Devouring Earth deathcap alone. It'll sleep you every now and then. when it hit's you, you'll wake up so you won't take deadly damage. ...but the bar will move quite slowly. With a self heal power you might wanna try a fungoid or two deathcaps. also try to get a liutenant to spawn an eminator to boost the accuracy.

The high level way
At higher levels you'll come across the Malta group. They're a real pain, since many of their minions can perma-hold many archetypes, like my squishy corruptor (and the bosses, omg... but they're darn cool)

What you want to do is to get a malta mission. Keep it and level up. Then get in, find a couple of sappers (or just one) and get it/them alone. Let them get close. Then go to bed while they work their magic. Many ATs will need that -1 level since sappers do some damage to you.

The not quite 'legal' way or the 'pre-I7 method' or a good way to grind holds lvl 40-50
Go to Warburg, pull a toxic tarantula out to the sea (so ppl won't find and kill you all the time) keep your distance and it won't hurt you at all, but it will hold you with an incredibly accurate and long hold. Great, isn't it... ..well, there's just one small problem - you will disconnect if you're inactive. You used to be able to start a strike-force, then go to Warburg without getting disconnected. Now you have to tap a key every now and then to stay connected, unless you want to risk getting banned from the game by using the method mentioned below.

Important: The following method is NOT ALLOWED in the game. We strongly recommend that you DON'T use it.

One way of staying connected is to get a program that will tap a key for you in the game every now and then. They are usually known as macro-(recording-)programs or hotkey-programs and can be useful in a lot of ways (I use AutoHotKey to auto-login on several forums and a lot of other things). They are however not allowed in the game. By letting them tap a key every now and then, you'll stay in-game as long as no player kills you. PLEASE understand that using such programs in any way in the game is regarded as cheating and might get you banned from the game. However I strongly recommend that you check out a program, since they're darn useful for other things. Do not confuse this with the 'Macros' and 'binds' you can do in-game, they're very legal to use. Macroprograms are pretty much the same thing, but way more advanced.
