How to fix a blinking NES (By Corail)

This information may help you to play NES again.

First of all. Take your NES apart and remove the 72-pin connector. For this you need a Pozidriv ( + ) screwdriver. When you removed all screws you only need to pull off the 72-pin connector. It is not soldered to the mainboard.

Here's the little piece of plastic that gives you that nice headache everytime you want to play Zelda. Also known as a 72-pin connector.

Fill the pan up with clean cold water. Let it start to boil and leave for 3 minutes. Pour the water out. DONT rinse again. Put the now very hot connector in a towel and spin it around for 10 seconds or so. It should then be quite dry and still very hot.
