Hello !
My name is Wolfgang von Malottke and one of my biggest interests has
been dressing Classic Salmon flies. I have practiced this delicate and
old-fashioned hand-craft since 1989. When I first started
dressing The Classics, I used a vice, with very poor results, so I
decided to start working without one. This works better for me. I don't
know why, but I feel freer when I can turn the fly around with no vice
in my way. There is also no thread holder or bobbin to work around. I
always strive for perfection. However, in this art, one is never
satisfied with his results.

The basic idea with this site is to show as many patterns as
possible which I can dress. New ones from time to time will be
presented. . The feather site is on its way, and will handle problems
for those who are having a hard time finding genuine feathers and using
substitute instead.
