What??

Hutch... you jinxed the Longhorns...the worst part about that loss is that they were essentially guaranteed the BCS championship with a win because they'd seen the Auburn and Louisville lose.  Now with their QB hurt, they might have some trouble in a Big 12 championship... their backup had a sort of deer in headlights thing going.

With Texas, Auburn, Louisville and Cal losing, is there anyone who can argue that the championship game shouldn't be a repeat of next weekend's Ohio State-Michigan game?  The only real alternatives are Arkansas, Florida, USC, Notre Dame or Rutgers.  Arkansas lost to USC, Florida to Auburn, USC to Oregon State and Notre Dame to Michigan... Not to mention that Arkansas and Florida seem destined for an SEC final and USC plays ND.

Rutgers still needs some validation and plays West Virginia.  It's tough to think that Rutgers can be national championship quality, but they just beat a team that was good enough to be ranked #3 and if they beat WV, WV was at one point ranked #4...  Josh, how does a #6 BCS rating feel?  Oh, and why I hate the BCS... Louisville beats WV, then loses to Rutgers, now Louisville is #10 and WV #8... USA Today has WV ahead of Rutgers too!!

Given that there is a winner in the OSU-Mich, USC-ND, Ark-FLA games there could be 4 teams that could claim they deserve the right to play in the BCS championship if Rutgers beats WV.

Speaking of Arkansas, Darren McFadden for 2007 Heisman!!  This guy is simply filthy.  Arkansas must have the best RB tandem in the nation with its two sophomores McFadden (who took a bunch of direct snaps in a shotgun-option formation) and Felix Jones... Rutgers can keep their RBs, I'll take McFadden's explosion anyday.  Given that they were 8-1 when they started a freshman QB for 9 weeks and benched him for a sophomore this week, you can go ahead and pencil the Razorbacks in for the BCS title game next year if they don't make it this year.
