Silver (& Black) Lining?
1. Silver lining: Andrew Walter didn't throw a pick and the fumble he had was recovered by a Raider! He also threw to 7 different receivers. Black lining: If you take away the final drive Walter was 12-30 for 122 yards and 9 sacks for minus 45 yards... this is simply pitiful.2. Silver lining: The Raiders had zero turnovers. Black lining: Of 13 drives in the game Lechler punted 10 times, two halves ended and one drive ended on TO on downs. The Raiders had two drives longer than 22 yards or 5 plays.
3. Silver lining: Warren Sapp and Derrick Burgess each had a sack, Moss had 6 catches, Lamont Jordan averaged 7 yards a carry. Black lining: Moss had three catches on the final drive and Jordan only had 9 carries.
The Raiders host Denver next weekend. I realize this is a short week, but can we simply fire each coach that has anything to do with the offense and cut Brooks, Walter and Tuiasasopo and do something else? As a team the Raiders have a QB rating of 47.4 and have been sacked 44 times in 8 games.
