Problem: Getting error "Could not initialize BDE. Directory is locked by < username >."
When launching Paradox.

Cause:
This message means that another user or session is using the directory, you are trying to access, as its private directory.
If the user specified is you, the problem is left over .lck files in your private directory.
Solution:
Keep all private directories local.
